Sana’a: The General Authority of Zakat and the Guidance Sector and Hajj and Umrah Affairs organized the fourth annual expanded awareness meeting for scholars, preachers, and guides in the capital, coinciding with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. This event was aimed at strengthening the collaboration between these religious entities and enhancing awareness efforts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the head of the General Authority of Zakat, Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nishtan, emphasized the significance of the meeting. He highlighted the role it plays in fostering a partnership between the Zakat Authority and scholars, preachers, and guides, particularly in spreading awareness. The meeting serves as a platform to align efforts and strategies in preparation for the observance of Ramadan.
