Sana'a: The Awqaf Office in Ibb Province organized a speech event on Monday to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) under the slogan "Far from us is humiliation." During the event, Saddam Al-Amisi, Deputy Director of the Awqaf Office in the province, emphasized that the anniversary of Imam Hussein's martyrdom is not just a historical occasion but represents a stance, a call to truth, and a cry against arrogance and oppression.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Amisi highlighted that Imam Hussein's stand on Ashura was not for power or prestige but aimed at reforming the nation of his grandfather, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and returning it to the true Muhammadan path. He described Imam Hussein as a product of the school of prophethood, known for revelation, piety, eloquence, and courage, who dedicated his life to upholding the truth, ultimately leading to his martyrdom alongside his loyal companions and family.

Al-Amisi stressed the importance of the Ummah following Imam Hussein's example in speech, action, and conduct, especially in supporting Gaza, which he referred to as another Karbala amid Arab-Islamic inaction and international complicity. He urged everyone to instill the principles and values of Imam Hussein in the hearts of future generations, encouraging them to see him as a symbol of truth, justice, freedom, and resistance against tyranny.
