Sana'a: Several cultural evenings and celebratory events were held on Saturday in the Azal district of the capital Sana'a to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, the events, organized across various neighborhoods, featured extensive official and public participation. Speakers at the gatherings emphasized the importance of reflecting on the Prophet's life and teachings, encouraging a stronger connection with him and the emulation of his example and conduct.
The speakers noted that the widespread public involvement mirrored the deep attachment of Yemenis to the Prophet and their dedication to their faith-based identity and Quranic culture. They also urged continued mobilization and active involvement in the central celebration of the Prophet's Birthday.
The evenings featured religious chants, poetry, and traditional performances, all expressing the participants' joy in commemorating the occasion.
