Sanaa: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Samir Baajalah, underscored the significance of enhancing job discipline to boost performance while ensuring that the ministry and its affiliated units fulfill their responsibilities in addressing societal issues and contributing to national development.
According to Yemen News Agency, during an inspection visit following the Eid holiday, Minister Baajalah commended the discipline exhibited by the ministry's leadership, staff, and affiliated units, including the National Productive Families Program. He highlighted their dedication to upholding professional discipline.
Baajalah urged the ministry to intensify efforts in task accomplishment, responsibility fulfillment, and responsible engagement with organizations involved in humanitarian, relief, and labor rights issues. This initiative aligns with the directives from revolutionary and political leadership aimed at overcoming challenges and advancing the nation.
The minister also emphasized measures taken to support the needs of ministry employees and affiliated units, particularly in training and qualification. These measures, he noted, have a significant impact on caring for homeless individuals, beggars, and displaced persons.
Baajalah mentioned ongoing work at all levels in areas such as social protection, economic empowerment, care, rehabilitation of the disabled and displaced, performance improvement, and providing assistance to vulnerable groups, while extending kindness to the public.
He stated that the Social Affairs and Labor strategy is built on integrated goals, clear policies, and practical measures. Several attendees expressed their appreciation for the ministry's leadership in enhancing work performance and supporting those in need.
