Sana'a: The Educational Sector in Bani Matar district of Sana'a governorate organized a cultural event on Sunday to celebrate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The event was attended by Shura Council member Mohammed Salman and Sana'a undersecretary Talib Dahan.
According to Yemen News Agency, Talib Dahan, who is also the head of the governorate's Educational Sector, emphasized the significance of commemorating this religious occasion. He highlighted how the event reflects the Prophet's status in the hearts of the people and provides an opportunity for younger generations to learn about his noble biography, values, and principles that form the foundation of a community based on justice, goodness, and solidarity.
Dahan reiterated the essential role of schools in instilling these noble principles among young people and strengthening their connection to Prophet Muhammad. Mohammed Al-Faqih, Head of the District Educational Sector, added that the daily activities and events held by schools serve as a crucial platform for reinforcing faith-based values and nurturing students' talents by aligning their participation with the values embodied by the Prophet.
Following the event, the local authority and the district's Educational Sector honored Yahya Al-Kahli, Head of the Governorate's Curriculum and Education Planning Division, recognizing his significant contributions to improving educational processes and administrative performance during his previous tenure in the district's Educational Sector.
District Director Al-Qanus praised Al-Kahli's leadership and tireless efforts, noting that the recognition was a well-deserved tribute for his continued service to younger generations and his efforts to advance education. Al-Qanus also commended Al-Kahli for his contributions to strengthening the resilience of the educational sector and simplifying administrative procedures, which have supported the stability of the district's education sector.
