Bayda: Bayda governor Abdullah Idris met on Tuesday with Emergency Project Manager for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Switzerland Hussein Ismail to discuss the organization's intervention plan and the resumption of its support for the health sector in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which was attended by health sector officials, focused on reviewing the plan to resume interventions. This plan includes supporting al-Thawra General Hospital in Bayda city, Rada'a Central Hospital in Rada'a city, and eight other hospitals and health centers across various districts.
The Governor praised MSF's efforts and its attention to priority needs within the health and humanitarian sectors, highlighting its vital support for health facilities to provide essential services to citizens. He emphasized the governorate's commitment to facilitating the operations of international missions and humanitarian organizations, encouraging them to expand their projects and interventions to meet the community's needs.
The Emergency Project Manager presented the organization's plan to support the health sector in coordination with the Health Office, aiming to implement future projects based on actual needs.
