Bayda: Governor Abdullah Idris has inspected ongoing work on the second phase of the drinking water network project in Bayda, implemented by the Social Fund for Development with Dutch funding totaling $1.34 million.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project, now 59% complete, involves extending 89 kilometers of main and secondary pipelines to serve neighborhoods around Bayda University, the courthouse, the Central Bank area, and al-Makhfaj. The governor emphasized adherence to engineering standards and the importance of water conservation during his inspection.
