Bayda: Bayda governor Abdullah Idris launched the stone paving project in Bayda city on Wednesday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative, valued at 47 million Y.R, is sponsored by the local authority and aims to cover 2,500 square meters. During the launch event, both the governor and Member of the Shura Council Abdullah al-Muzaffari were briefed on the specifics of the project.
The project encompasses stone paving and the construction of drainage channels, which are expected to alleviate congestion, reduce traffic accidents, and enhance the city's aesthetic appeal. Governor Idris highlighted the local authority's dedication to improving public services and easing the burden on citizens.
He stated that the stone paving and road rehabilitation efforts are part of a broader suite of development projects currently underway in the governorate. Additionally, the governor called upon contractors to adhere to the prescribed engineering standards and timelines to ensure timely completion of the project.
