Bayda': The Bayda governorate Tender Committee, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, has approved a series of service and development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure and services in the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, among the approved projects is the paving of al-Gharaq Street in Rada'a City, which is expected to improve transportation within the city. The committee also sanctioned maintenance work for the well at the kidney dialysis center, ensuring its continued operation. Additionally, a survey has been approved to assess the damage to Mukayras Hospital from what has been described as "US-British aggression," paving the way for its restoration.
Further projects include the construction of a culvert in Bayda City for rainwater diversion, budgeted at 17 million YER, and additional work on rainwater drainage systems in the city, costing 19.89 million YER. Concrete road repairs are also set to take place on the As-Soma'a-Al-Maifa'a road, with an allocated budget of 850.32 million YER, funded by the Central Interventions Unit, the governorate, and the community.
The committee has also approved the paving of al-Amn Street in Bayda city with a budget of 133 million YER and forwarded the development of al-Arif Lathil Road in Na'man district to the technical committee for further action.
Governor Idris highlighted the significance of these collaborative efforts, stressing the local authority's dedication to implementing projects that prioritize service improvement and alleviate the hardships faced by citizens.
