Bayda: The Tender Committee in Bayda province, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, has approved a series of service and development projects across several districts, funded by local authority and community initiatives.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Governors Saleh al-Mansouri and Ahmed al-Siqel. Among the approved projects are the stone paving of al-Shahid Al-Azzani School Street in the al-Arsh district at a cost of 68 million riyals and the second phase of Aqabat Bahran in the al-Qurashiyeh district at 38.818 million riyals. Additional works include surveying and paving the al-Dhahera road in the al-Sawma'ah district, along with flood channel paving at 2.586 million riyals.
The committee also approved the construction of a bridge and culverts on the Radman Qaniya road for 100 million riyals. Purchases of machinery for the agricultural sector, support for land surveying units, and funding for field committees to match planning maps were also sanctioned.
Governor Idris highlighted the importance of coordination and prioritization of these projects to enhance services and alleviate the burdens on citizens.
