Hajjah: The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, in collaboration with the branches of the Rural Water Projects Authority and the Water Resources Authority, organized an event to commemorate the Martyrs' Annual Anniversary of 1447 AH. The event was attended by key figures including Judge Abdulmajid Sharaf Al-Din, Director of the Grievances Authority Branch; Ibrahim Sa'sa'ah, Acting Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation; and Essam Al-Wazzan, Director of Al-Madina District.
According to Yemen News Agency, Engineer Mohammed Abdulwadood, the Technical Director of the Water Corporation, emphasized the significance of honoring the martyrs. He stated that their sacrifices have brought pride and dignity to Yemen and have empowered the nation's leaders to support the oppressed globally, particularly in Gaza. The speech also acknowledged the contributions of several prominent martyrs, including Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the late President Saleh Al-Sammad, and Major General Mohammed Al-Ghamari.
Cultural figures Bashir Al-Madoumi and Tawfiq Al-Muayyad highlighted the importance of following the path of the martyrs who defended the homeland and supported the brothers in Gaza. They described the martyred leaders as role models and emphasized that the concept of martyrdom serves as a means to preserve the nation's energy and sacrifices. They also noted the dedication of the younger generation to the ideals of freedom and martyrdom.
Following the event, the leadership of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation and the Grievances Authority visited the Martyrs' Garden in the Al-Sayeh area. Judge Abdulmajid Sharaf Al-Din, Acting Director Ibrahim Sa'sa'ah, and District Director Essam Al-Wazzan paid tribute to the martyrs by reciting Al-Fatiha for their souls.
