Beit Abseen Water Project in Al-Yareem District Delivered

Ibb: The Ibb branch of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects handed over the Beit Abseen Water Project in the al-Yareem district to the implementing party to commence work on the initiative. The project, with a budget of $62,000, is set to equip the area with a solar-powered system, complete with a pumping room, funded by the International Medical Organization.

According to Yemen News Agency, Engineer Sadiq Qamaz, Director of the Authority's branch in the governorate, stressed the project's importance in providing clean water to the area and alleviating the burden on citizens who previously fetched water from distant locations. He stated that the project aims to improve the health and environmental conditions in the region and reduce the prevalence of waterborne diseases.

Qamaz further noted that ensuring a safe and sustainable water source is a priority in the Authority's plans to serve rural communities and enhance their living conditions. He acknowledged the efforts of the International Medical Organization in supporting the project, emphasizing its humanitarian goal to enhance basic services and improve living standards in rural areas.
