Sanaa: Political Council member Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor and Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi participated in a central event organized by the Interior Ministry to commemorate the martyr anniversary of 1446 AH. The event took place on Saturday and was marked by speeches reflecting on the sacrifices of those who have fallen in the line of duty to protect the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Bin Habtoor opened the event with a speech that commended the leadership of the Interior Ministry and its personnel for their dedication to maintaining security and stability. He emphasized the heroism of martyrs from various sectors, including the Interior and Defense Ministries, and the free tribesmen, acknowledging their lasting influence on the nation’s history and ongoing struggle for victory.
Dr. Bin Habtoor further expressed gratitude to those who resisted oppression and highlighted the inability of Arab and Muslim leaders to condemn the actions of the Zionist enemy during a summit in Riyadh. He cri
ticized the summit as a demonstration of the leaders’ failure to support their brothers, underscoring Yemen’s commitment to self-reliance and honoring its martyrs for the nation’s future.
Prime Minister Al-Rahwi also praised the martyrs for defending Yemen’s dignity and sovereignty. He attributed the country’s current state of security and stability to their sacrifices and acknowledged the effective work of security services in combating crime. Al-Rahwi paid tribute to specific martyrs, including Taha Ismail Al-Madani and other prominent figures, for their contributions to Yemen’s freedom and dignity.
Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, highlighted the achievements in security and stability made possible by the sacrifices of the martyrs. He noted that these accomplishments surpass those of previous decades and are a testament to the martyrs’ dedication.
The attendees of the event expressed their admiration for the martyrs’ sacrifices and their role
in securing Yemen’s right to freedom and a decent life. They affirmed that the blood of the martyrs was instrumental in achieving victory for the Yemeni people.
