Sa’ada: The Board of Directors of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Sa’ada convened a meeting led by Governor Mohammed Awad to evaluate the progress in administrative, technical, and field operations of the corporation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the discussions centered around the implementation of various projects, efficient use of public resources, and the adoption of the corporation’s organizational structure. The meeting also addressed mechanisms for collecting bills from government agencies, creating a plan for pumping polluted water, and ensuring that sewage owners conduct necessary maintenance and cleaning to prevent pollution.
Governor Mohammed Awad emphasized the ongoing maintenance of water networks and highlighted the importance of coordinating efforts to manage sewage violations. He acknowledged the corporation’s efforts in executing water projects and enhancing operational performance.
Engineer Mohammed Al-Saadi, Director of the Corporation, presented a review of the previous meeting’s outcomes, discussing work and collection mechanisms, along with the challenges faced by the corporation and potential solutions.
The meeting concluded with the approval of the final account and annual inventory work for the year 2024.
