Bonyan Foundation Concludes Training Course for Cooperative and Agricultural Associations

Dhamar: The Bonyan Foundation and Bonyan Training and Rehabilitation Academy have concluded a training course aimed at building the capacities of administrative bodies in cooperative and agricultural associations across several districts. The course targeted associations in the Al-Hada, Juhran, and Saba Al-Safil districts in Dhamar Governorate, as well as Na'at and Al-Sawadiyah in Al-Bayda Governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative is part of an ongoing cooperative program funded by the Agricultural and Fisheries Project and Initiative Financing Unit in Dhamar and Al-Bayda Governorates, in partnership with the Cooperative Union. The training aimed to enhance the skills of 52 participants from the administrative and executive bodies of cooperative and agricultural associations.

During the closing ceremony, Mohamed Al-Qahoum, Secretary-General of the Agricultural Cooperative Union, emphasized the role of cooperative and agricultural associations in developing and supporting the national economy and achieving food security.

He noted that Yemen's ongoing agricultural revolution aligns with the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, the Supreme Political Council's guidance, the Quranic project's methodology, and the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in advancing community and voluntary work.

Al-Qahoum highlighted the importance of the training in equipping participants with the necessary expertise to manage associations effectively and fulfill their roles in achieving the desired goals of cooperative and agricultural development.
