Sana'a: The districts of the capital Sana'a on Friday witnessed celebratory events marking the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday. Residents of al-Wahda, al-Tahrir, Azal, al-Safia, al-Sabeen, and Bani al-Harith organized cultural and speech events and celebratory evenings, reflecting the deep love and connection of Yemenis to the Prophet and their joy in commemorating his noble birthday.
According to Yemen News Agency, the popular celebrations in neighborhoods across the capital, adorned with green lights and slogans expressing devotion to the Prophet, included recitations of poetry, religious chants and hymns praising the Prophet, and segments of traditional heritage performances.
In al-Wahda district, a meeting of businesspeople and merchants was organized, chaired by Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hasan al-Sa'adi, as part of the preparatory activities for the Prophet's birthday celebrations.
