Sana'a: Capital Sana'a Mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad inaugurated two major road maintenance projects on Khawlan and Socotra Streets in the al-Sabeen district. These projects have a combined cost of 520 million riyals and are funded by the local authority.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Khawlan Street project, which costs 400 million riyals, includes the construction of concrete bridges, the application of asphalt layers, and the restoration of deteriorated road sections. The project spans from al-Huthaili roundabout to al-Khafji roundabout and Shamila Street.
Additionally, a 120-million-riyal surface bridge project on Socotra Street was launched. Officials emphasized the importance of adhering to quality standards and highlighted the projects' roles in easing traffic congestion and enhancing road infrastructure in the area.
