Sana’a: Mayor of the capital Sana’a Dr. Hamoud Ubad conducted an inspection of the rehabilitation and maintenance project underway on Amran Street in al-Thawra district, funded locally.
According to Yemen News Agency, Ubad was accompanied by Engineer Ali Muharraq, Deputy Director of the Executive Unit for Maintenance, Restoration and Development of Roads and Public Places, as he reviewed the asphalt restoration work. The work focuses on deteriorated sections and potholes along Television Street, extending to the beginning of the Amran Bridge. The project is being implemented by the Executive Unit within the capital.
Ubad received a briefing from the project manager and engineers regarding the work being carried out by the Executive Unit’s teams and equipment on the targeted streets in al-Thawra district. The tasks include asphalt laying and pothole filling.
He urged the Executive Unit for Restoration and the engineers to accelerate their efforts and complete the street maintenance work swiftly, adhering to the required specifications to ensure smooth traffic flow.
