Capital Secretariat Evaluates Projects for Bani Al Harith Cooperative Society

Muscat: Capital Secretariat A meeting at the Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Financing Unit of the Capital Secretariat, chaired by Deputy Secretary for Agricultural Affairs Mohammed Saree, focused on the projects and needs of the multi-purpose Bani Al Harith Cooperative Society.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by the unit's Executive Director Abdullah Sharaf Al-Din, Deputy Director Samir Hamza, Society Chairman Dr. Sadiq Al-Jadmi, Director of Studies Issam Al-Faqih, and various specialists. They explored strategies to bolster the society's role in aiding farmers and broadening agricultural services.

The meeting concluded with the decision to have the society compile farmers' needs in the Bani Al Harith district and create a comprehensive database to pinpoint agricultural priorities. Coordination with the Agriculture Sector was emphasized to deliver extension services and enhance programs for pest and disease prevention.

Additionally, the meeting endorsed the activation of the community plowing program, the establishment of a suitable location for an agricultural services center, and the review of previous expenditures to boost project implementation efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
