Capital Secretariat Officials Inspect Summer Courses in Al-Tahrir and Azal Districts

Capital secretariat: The Deputy Governor of the Capital Secretariat for Local Authority Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Omari, alongside Assistant Deputy Engineer Abdullah Rawiya, conducted an inspection of the Al-Shaheed Al-Sammad and Al-Nafs Al-Zakiyah summer centers in Al-Tahrir District today.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials, accompanied by District Director Naji Al-Shayyani, Administrative Board Member Mohammed Nasser, and Head of the Culture Sector in the district Abdulhaq Al-Sharafi, evaluated the progress of educational activities, programs offered to students, and the participation levels of children and youth. They were briefed by center administrators on Quran memorization programs, related sciences, and sports activities.

Al-Omari and Rawiya expressed their appreciation for the organization, student turnout, and management efforts. They emphasized the role of summer centers in shielding young individuals from harmful ideologies and fostering personalities rooted in Quranic awareness.

District Director Naji Al-Shayyani stated that the visits aim to oversee the implementation of summer course programs and address any challenges faced by organizers. He emphasized that these courses provide a safe environment for youth during holidays, advocating for collective efforts to ensure successful outcomes.

In Azal District, security and local leaders reviewed similar summer activities. District Director Mohammed Al-Ghalisi, Mobilization Official Abdullah Al-Buhairi, and Central Security officers, including Colonels Ali Sharaf, Mohammed Ghassan, Dawood Al-Haddad, Ibrahim Al-Najjar, and Lieutenant Colonels Murad Al-Sheikh and Ali Al-Rajawi, inspected centers in the district.

They received briefings from supervisors on the progress of summer programs, highlighting their contribution to strengthening Quranic culture and a faith-based identity. The visitors stressed the importance of these courses in fostering a conscious, values-based generation, resilient against misleading cultures and destructive ideas.

Encouragement was given to students to seize the opportunity to gain beneficial knowledge, develop life skills, uphold moral values, and enhance their creative abilities across various fields, all anchored in a Quranic cultural and faith identity.
