Sana'a: A meeting chaired by Sana'a Mayor Dr. Hamoud Abad on Saturday reviewed the implementation progress of service and development projects approved under the local authority's 1447 AH plan.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor for Public Works and Projects Eng. Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, Planning Sector Head Dr. Abdulwahab Sharaf Al-Din, Local Projects Director Eng. Ahmed Sharaf, along with other officials. The focus was on examining performance reports, project implementation across various sectors, and mechanisms to enhance execution.
Participants also assessed progress indicators for local projects and community initiatives completed during the past year. They discussed priorities for preparing the local authority's 1448 AH project plan, which includes roads and public works.
Dr. Abad emphasized the importance of prioritizing projects that improve public services and development, addressing citizens' needs, and tackling implementation challenges.
He urged for the mobilization of resources and encouragement of community initiatives to bolster sustainable local development and ensure the successful execution of the 1448 AH development plan.
