Sana'a: The Women's Committee in the Capital Secretariat inaugurated the activities and events marking the annual Martyrs' Commemoration for the year 1447 AH, encompassing all districts and neighborhoods.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the launch event, Hanan Al-Azzi, Head of the Quranic Culture Unit at the Secretariat's Mobilization Office, elaborated on the directives concerning the 1447 AH Martyrs' Commemoration. Al-Azzi underscored the significance of the occasion, emphasizing the inspiration drawn from the values, principles, and ethics for which the martyrs sacrificed. She highlighted the necessity of caring for their families and fortifying resilience in confronting aggression.
Al-Azzi called for unified efforts to support the families and children of martyrs who laid down their lives in the fields of struggle, honor, and dignity. Furthermore, she advocated for the promotion of faith-based identity and Quranic culture within the community. The annual Martyrs' Commemoration was portrayed as an event for education and mobilization, deriving lessons from the heroism of martyrs in the path of God, defending the homeland, and safeguarding national sovereignty. She urged everyone to prioritize the care and support of martyrs' families and children, providing them with essential assistance as a fundamental tribute.
