Capital’s Water Resources Authority Branch Commemorates Annual Martyrs’ Day

Sana'a: The Capital Sana'a Branch of the General Authority for Water Resources organized a commemorative event today marking the Annual Martyrs' Day 1447 AH, attended by Sana'a undersecretary Fares al-Kahali.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Authority's Deputy Director Engineer Abdelkarim al-Sufyani highlighted the high status of martyrs before Allah, noting that their sacrifices stem from the Qur'anic path established by the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He stressed that Yemen has achieved a significant regional standing thanks to Allah and this Qur'anic path, and called for the care and support of martyrs' families as a religious and national duty.

Branch Director Mustafa al-Shahari stated that commemorating the martyrs reinforces the spirit of jihad and sacrifice among Yemenis and reminds citizens of their responsibility to support the causes of the nation and the oppressed.

Scholar Mohammed al-Bashq also spoke about the martyrs' esteemed status before Allah and their sacrifices for the homeland and religion, emphasizing the importance of caring for their families as a duty of loyalty.

The event included poetry recitals and a visual presentation highlighting the martyrs' journey, particularly the late leader Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi and the martyr, Major General Mohammed Abdelkarim al-Ghammari.
