Al-durayhimi: The local authority and the mobilization division in Al-Durayhimi District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, have initiated celebrations for the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) for the year 1447 AH. This event marks a significant cultural and religious occasion for the community.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the District, Muhammad Al-Musayi, highlighted the importance of honoring the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as it signifies the community's adherence to the noble path of the Prophet. The people of Al-Durayhimi express their pride in the Prophet's teachings and the enlightenment his biography has brought to humanity.
Al-Musayi emphasized Yemen's historical role in supporting Islam and the contributions of its people in spreading its teachings. He stressed that celebrating the Prophet's Birthday is a testament to the Yemeni people's strong connection with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
Abbas Omar, Deputy Head of the Educational Sector in the district, described the occasion as an educational and spiritual milestone. He noted that the celebrations promote the noble values introduced by the Prophet and instill in the youth a sense of sacrifice and devotion in the cause of Allah.
Omar further explained that the Mawlid al-Nabi celebrations offer a moment to reflect on the Prophet's life and draw lessons to face challenges targeting the Ummah. The occasion serves to deepen awareness of the Prophet's message and reinforce the values of mercy and justice he advocated.
