Al-shahel: Al-Shahel and Washha districts in Hajjah governorate held cultural and educational events on Tuesday to celebrate the Prophet's birthday, Mawlid al-Nabi, honoring the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
According to Yemen News Agency, in Al-Shahel, local health, water, and electricity offices, along with the rural hospital, organized activities highlighting the importance of following the Prophet's example and reinforcing religious identity and resilience. Officials emphasized the educational and spiritual significance of the Mawlid, calling for widespread participation in the central celebration on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
In Washha, the education sector and local schools hosted lectures, recitations, and poetry performances stressing love, devotion, and adherence to the Prophet's guidance, while urging citizens to draw lessons in perseverance and solidarity in support of the Palestinian cause. Community leaders, educators, and cultural figures encouraged the public to engage actively in the central events commemorating the Prophet's birth.
