Al-hudaydah: The branch of the General Authority for Water Resources and Facilities in Al-Hudaydah organized a celebratory evening in the city of Al-Qati' in Al-Maraw'ah district, marking the Prophet's birthday for the year 1448 AH. The event, held under the slogan "Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those with him," was attended by MP Hussein Qasrah, along with local and executive leaders.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mohammed Halisi emphasized that the celebration reflects a profound connection to the Prophet and a commitment to maintaining a faith-based identity despite ongoing challenges. He highlighted that Yemen's resilience draws inspiration from the Prophet's biography and that the nation's support for the oppressed is a continuation of the Ansar's legacy.
Deputy Head of the Authority Abdulkarim Al-Sufyani noted that the occasion arises amidst significant challenges, including aggression on Palestine and repeated insults to the Quran. He urged a return to the Prophetic path and advocated for taking practical steps to defend sacred values.
District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni observed that the unity witnessed during the celebration stems from heightened awareness fostered by the occasion. He remarked on the historical role of the Ansar in supporting the Prophet as a source of inspiration for contemporary solidarity.
In his address, Mohammed Ma'afa, representing the scholars, described the celebration as an educational and faith-based initiative. He underscored the scholars' duty to elucidate the Prophet's biography and to link future generations to the nation's causes.
The evening featured a poem by poet Ahmed Suleiman and an operetta performed by the Al-Shahid Al-Sammad troupe, adding a cultural dimension to the event.
