Sana'a: Al-Tahrir District in the Capital Secretariat hosted a gathering and celebratory events in commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him and his family) birthday. The Al-Tahrir Educational Zone organized an extensive educational meeting that brought together school principals, leaders, and educational staff to mobilize for the preparatory events, foremost among them the central celebration scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Head of the Technical Office at the Ministry of Education, Ziyad Al-Rafiq, highlighted the greatness and significance of the occasion, its role in raising awareness, and its importance in moral refinement. He stressed that commemorating the Prophet's birth serves as a reminder of his noble life, encourages emulation of his values and ethics, and strengthens the faith identity of the younger generations, protecting them from misleading ideologies and cultural invasions.

Al-Rafiq also pointed out the special importance of this year's celebrations in light of the major conspiracies against Islam and Muslims, and the brutal wars waged by oppressors, particularly against Gaza and Palestine, noting Yemen's honorable and unique stance in solidarity with the oppressed in Gaza.

District Director Naji Al-Shi'ani and Head of the Educational Zone Issam Al-Abed urged all educators in the district to ensure wide mobilization and an honorable presence at the central celebration, stressing that the event should reflect the Yemeni people's firm adherence to their faith, Prophet, and Islamic identity.

In parallel, cultural seminars were held in Al-Tahrir District's mosques, including Imam Zayd, Al-Nuzaili, Al-Ra'fa, and Al-Sharifa, along with community gatherings in various neighborhoods. These sessions addressed aspects of the Prophet's life, character, and values as the Messenger of humanity, whose noble message brought mankind from darkness to light.

Head of Mobilization in the district, Engineer Abdul Latif Al-Wali, called on all residents of Al-Tahrir District to actively participate in the events and evening gatherings, expressing joy and gratitude to God for His blessing upon humanity, while defying the enemies of God and His Messenger.

Residents of Bir Al-Suwaidi East and West neighborhoods in Al-Tahrir also organized two cultural evenings as part of the preparatory activities for the commemoration.

The speeches and presentations emphasized the importance of the celebration as a moment to draw inspiration from the Prophet's life, renew commitment to following his path, and affirm the deep-rooted love and loyalty of the Yemeni people to the Prophet and his family. They stressed that Yemen hosts the largest and most widespread celebrations of the Prophet's birthday worldwide, reflecting genuine devotion.

Meanwhile, in Old Sana'a District, cultural activities were held at Nashwan School, the Great Mosque, and the district headquarters, along with a popular evening in Bab Al-Sabbah neighborhood.

The events were attended by District Director Mahdi Arhab, Head of General Mobilization Rizq Al-Ghararah, Secretary-General of the Local Council Mujahid Al-Ghail, as well as local officials, community figures, and residents.

The celebrations featured speeches, cultural segments, chants, poetry, and traditional folk dances expressing joy, gratitude, and obedience to God and His Messenger. Graduates of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' training courses from Bab Al-Sabbah neighborhood were also honored.

Speakers called for continued participation in commemorative activities across neighborhoods, schools, and communities, and for strong mobilization and presence at the central celebration in Al-Sabeen Square to mark the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
