Bajil: Yahya Atifa, Chairman of the General Corporation for Cement Industry and Marketing, on Tuesday inspected the condition of those wounded in the Zionist-American crime that targeted Bajil Cement Factory on Monday evening. The attack resulted in four martyrs and 35 injuries among the factory's employees.
According to Yemen News Agency, Atifa was accompanied by Province's Health and Environment Office Director Dr. Khaled al-Madani and Bajil District Director Abdul-Moneim al-Rifai as he reviewed the health status of the injured at Bajil Central Hospital and the emergency medical response. He urged the hospital administration and medical staff to continue their efforts in caring for the wounded.
Atifa condemned the attack as a crime revealing the terrorist face of the American-Zionist aggression targeting Yemeni livelihoods. He stated that targeting industrial facilities like the cement factory demonstrates a deliberate attempt to cause economic paralysis and starvation.
He denounced the targeting of Bajil and Amran cement factories as a violation of international and humanitarian laws, aimed at hindering construction and production.
Atifa emphasized the factories' role in local and national development, stating that such attacks would not deter Yemenis from strengthening national production.
He called on international organizations to take responsibility regarding this crime and act to stop the aggression and protect civilian facilities, warning that continued silence would encourage further crimes.
