Hamdan: The local authority and General Mobilization in the Hamdan district of Sana'a province organized a central evening to commemorate the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Day of Guardianship) for the year 1447 AH under the slogan "And support whoever supports him."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including a member of the Shura Council, Yahya Ayesh, Deputy Minister of Oil, Mohammed Al-Najjar, and province deputies, Atef Al-Musalli and Mohammed Ayesh. Fahd Attiyah, the district director, emphasized the importance of this anniversary in the history of the Islamic nation, highlighting the sermon of the Greatest Messenger at Ghadir Khumm.
Attiyah explained that commemorating this day signifies an expression of adherence to the faith-based identity derived from the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Greatest Messenger, while also rejecting projects of guardianship, hegemony, and subservience.
The event, which was attended by the commander of the Wa'd al-Akhira Brigades, Brigadier General Hassan Al-Jawdah, governor's advisor Zayed Al-Kabbas, district mobilization official Mohammed Al-Shuwaye, and various leaders and social figures, featured choral segments, an operetta, and expressive poems.
