Al-Hodeida: Al-Hodeida University and the University Student Forum organized a central event on Wednesday to commemorate the martyr’s anniversary 1446 AH and honor the university’s martyrs’ families. Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim praised the steadfastness of Al-Hodeida University and its employees during periods of escalation in the province, highlighting its impact on the normalization of life in the city and the resilience of its people.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the first deputy governor Ahmed Al-Bishri and the university president, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ahdal. Dr. Al-Ahdal emphasized that the annual martyr anniversary serves as a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made by the martyrs. He reiterated the importance of renewing the pledge and loyalty to follow their path and their jihadist legacy.
Sheikh Ali Adabi, Vice President of Dar Al Uloom Sharia University, spoke on the significance of maintaining a spirit of jihad and upholding high principles amid
st adversities. He elaborated on historical moments when proponents of truth stood resilient against falsehood and temptations, tracing back from the early days of Islam and the efforts to dissuade the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) from his mission, through the beginnings of the Qur’anic movement, and the martyr leader’s resistance to American dominance until his martyrdom. He also touched upon Yemen’s stance in supporting the “Al-Aqsa flood” battle despite the challenges faced.
