Chairman of Supreme Commission for Elections Sends Ramadan Congratulations to Revolution Leader and President Al-Mashat

Sanaa: The Chairman of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum, Judge Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salmi, sent a cable of congratulations to the Revolution Leader, Abdulmalik Badreddin al-Houthi, and to His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Chairman of the Commission expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings, in his own name and on behalf of the Deputy Chairman, members of the Commission, and the Secretary-General, to the Revolution Leader, the President and members of the Political Council, and the Yemeni people on this great religious occasion. He described the month of Ramadan as an opportunity to increase in acts of worship and spiritual purification, and a religious occasion to revive faith-based values, preparing souls to make the most of its days and nights through devotion and acts of obedience, and to guide behavior toward cooperation, compassion, harmony, brotherhood, and tolerance among the people of Yemen.

Judge Al-Salmi affirmed that the holy month is a season of good and blessings, strengthening the values of solidarity and social cohesion, and at the same time reflecting the essence of Yemeni society by reinforcing spiritual faith, steadfast determination, national responsibility, generosity, and compassion toward the poor and the needy. He also praised the honorable positions of the revolutionary and political leadership in supporting and backing the Palestinian people in Gaza and the occupied territories, noting that these stances will remain recorded in history until victory is achieved and the occupation ends. He further commended the sacrifices of the steadfast heroes in the armed forces and security services across various fields of honor and dignity, and the victories they have achieved, which will be recorded in history in its brightest pages.

The Chairman of the Supreme Commission for Elections prayed to Almighty God to make Ramadan a month of goodness, blessing, benevolence, and victory for the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples, to return it upon Yemen and the Arab and Islamic nation with unity, triumph, and empowerment.
