Beijing: China's National Bureau of Statistics reported a 1.2% year-on-year increase in domestic crude oil production for April, reaching 17.94 million tons. According to Yemen News Agency, the data revealed that the cumulative crude oil production since the start of the year totaled 72.74 million tons, marking a 1.3% increase compared to the same period last year. In contrast, domestic refinery crude oil consumption experienced a decline of 5.8% in April, amounting to 54.65 million tons. The total refinery consumption since the beginning of the year was 238.95 million tons, a decrease of 0.5% from the previous year. The statistics also highlighted a rise in natural gas production, which increased by 1.9% in April compared to the same period last year, reaching 21.9 billion cubic meters. Total natural gas production since January amounted to 90 billion cubic meters, reflecting a 2.7% increase.
