Moscow: Official data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics on Monday showed that the value added of China's industrial output is projected to rise 5.9 percent year-on-year in 2025.
According to Yemen News Agency, China's industrial output increased by 5.2 percent year-on-year in December alone. Detailed data revealed that the added value of industrial output in the mining sector is projected to rise by 5.6 percent year-on-year in 2025, while the manufacturing sector is expected to grow by 6.4 percent. Additionally, the output in the electricity, heating, gas, and water production and supply sectors is projected to increase by 2.3 percent.
In 2025, the added value of industrial output in China's equipment manufacturing sector is expected to increase by 9.2 percent, and the high-tech manufacturing sector is projected to rise by 9.4 percent. These figures represent an increase of 3.3 and 3.5 percentage points, respectively, compared to the overall industrial output growth rate.
Kang Yi, head of the National Bureau of Statistics of China, stated at a press conference on Monday that the equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing sectors accounted for 36.8 percent and 17.1 percent of the country's industrial output, respectively. Kang also highlighted the rapid expansion of the low-altitude economy, embodied intelligence, civilian drones, and industrial robots.
Data from the agency showed that the added value of industrial output in the 3D printing equipment, industrial robots, and new energy vehicles sectors increased by 52.5 percent, 28 percent, and 25.1 percent, respectively.
