According to Yemen News Agency, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Wednesday that these gains in the auto sector were driven by initiatives aimed at replacing old consumer goods with new ones, local auto shows, and the introduction of new products. The data, sourced from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, highlights the significant impact of these programs on the market dynamics.
The report also noted that China’s overall vehicle production reached 24.33 million units during the same period, marking a 13.3% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, vehicle sales grew by 12.9%, reaching 24.36 million units, reflecting a robust demand in the domestic market.
In addition to domestic growth, China’s auto exports demonstrated strong momentum, increasing by 14.8% year-on-year from January to September. Notably, exports of new energy vehicles saw a remarkable jump of 89.4% year-on-year, totaling 1.76 million units, underscoring the global demand for China’s new energy vehicles.
