Civil Aviation Authority Condemns Airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport as an Attempt to Undermine Yemen’s Resilience

General

Sana'a: The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology of the Republic of Yemen condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression's airstrikes on Sana'a International Airport, which resulted in the destruction of civilian aircraft and passenger terminals, in addition to causing extensive damage to the airport's runway and vital facilities.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Authority indicated in a statement that this attack is not the first of its kind, but rather an extension of a long series of repeated attacks on the airport over the past ten years, both by the Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition and the Israeli aggression. The statement highlighted that a similar attack was launched on December 26, 2024, as part of a systematic campaign to destroy the civil aviation infrastructure in Yemen.
