Sana'a: A closing ceremony for the summer courses and an honoring event for teachers and students were held today in Bilad Ar-Rus District, Sana'a Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the ceremony took place at As-Samad Summer School, where Muthahar Az-Zuwar, the educational sector official in the district, highlighted the significance of the summer courses' activities and programs. These courses focused on Quran memorization, recitation, and sciences, aiming to develop students' knowledge and protect them against external influences. He emphasized that the success of the summer courses lies in their mission to build a knowledgeable generation that can contribute to national progress and defense.
In addition, Ahmad Al-Lissani, the mobilization official in the district, and Ahmad Jarush, the director of the Endowments branch, remarked on the large turnout and the variety of activities this year, which included scientific, cultural, and sports programs. They commended the efforts of the course organizers and the active participation of students and parents.
The ceremony was further enriched by choral recitations and speeches by students, showcasing their learning and experiences from the summer courses' activities and programs.
