Hodeida: The local authority and the General Mobilization Office in al-Mina district of Hodeida governorate launched the commemorative activities marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) under the slogan, 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah,' during an expanded meeting attended by officials and community members.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the gathering, Director of the District Abdullah al-Hadi emphasized that celebrating the Prophet's birthday reflects a high level of awareness about the significance of the occasion and embodies the deep spiritual connection to the Messenger of Allah, who was sent as a mercy to the worlds and a beacon of guidance and enlightenment.
He noted that despite facing challenges and siege, the Yemeni people remain the only nation that commemorates the Prophet's birth with such momentum and passion. This is driven by their belief in the greatness of the Prophet's message and its vital role in confronting hegemony and arrogance, guiding the Muslim nation back to its righteous path.
Al-Hadi explained that the leadership of the revolution has laid down a Quranic methodology for commemorating this occasion. The Prophet's birth anniversary serves as a station for reinforcing identity, boosting morale, and refocusing attention on major causes - foremost among them, Palestine.
The event featured several speeches highlighting the spiritual and educational significance of the occasion in strengthening the nation against normalization and submission. The speakers emphasized the importance of wide public engagement in the activities, and of organizing events and seminars to deepen awareness of the Prophet's life and status. This also reflects Yemen's steadfast stance in supporting the causes of the Islamic nation, particularly the Palestinian cause.
