Sana'a: The final phase of the Al-Thalathin Street paving project - Shamlan Ring Road - in Hamdan District was completed today, as part of the local authority's plan in Sana'a Governorate to improve infrastructure and enhance the level of services across the districts.
According to Yemen News Agency, the final phase included paving a total area of 5,833 square meters, stretching 350 meters in length and 18 meters in width, using 750 tons of asphalt, at a total cost of 60 million riyals.
The Governorate's Public Works official, Eng. Mohammed Ashiya, affirmed that the works were carried out in accordance with approved technical standards and specifications, ensuring quality implementation and project sustainability. He noted that completing this street represents a significant addition to the road network in the Shamlan area and will help ease traffic flow and reduce congestion.
For his part, the Director of the Executive Unit in the Governorate, Eng. Mohammed Makram, stated that the unit was keen to adhere to technical standards and the specified timeline, while intensifying on-site supervision throughout the implementation stages to ensure maximum benefit and sustainability of the project.
Meanwhile, the Project Director, Eng. Taha Al-Dhaifani, explained that the completion of this phase builds on efforts made in previous stages, in line with the Governorate leadership's direction to develop the internal road network and strengthen infrastructure projects to serve citizens and meet their growing needs.
