Comprehensive Mosque Maintenance Campaign Launched in Hodeidah Governorate

Hodeidah:The office of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance in Hodeidah Governorate has initiated a comprehensive campaign focusing on the cleanliness, maintenance, restoration, and furnishing of mosques in Hays and Al-Khawkhah districts. This initiative is part of the project "Only those who believe in God shall maintain the mosques of God."

According to Yemen News Agency, the campaign, launched under the slogan "In houses which God has ordered to be raised and in which His name is mentioned," aims to enhance the conditions of over 100 mosques in the two districts on the western coast. The effort involves emergency maintenance, rehabilitation works, and furnishing of historic congregational mosques.

Ibrahim Al-Nu'mi, the director general of the office, stated that the campaign includes providing cleaning tools and supplies to the mosques. He confirmed that the furnishing and maintenance of the Great and historic congregational mosque in Hays District have been completed, with ongoing work in other mosques in Hays and Al-Khawkhah.

Al-Nu'mi expressed gratitude towards the authority's leadership and the participating workers for their roles in the campaign. He highlighted the office's commitment to maintaining and caring for the mosques and preserving the endowments' property.

Omar Rashid and Ahmed Ismail, directors of the financial affairs and mosques departments respectively, emphasized the ongoing high-paced work in cleaning, maintaining, and furnishing the targeted mosques, ensuring they are equipped with necessary supplies. This campaign reflects the authority's dedication to looking after the houses of God and achieving the endowments' purposes.
