Sana'a: Concluding speech and cultural events were held on Sunday in a number of districts of Sana'a governorate to mark the annual anniversary of the Martyr of the Qur'an, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. The events, organized in the districts of Khawlan, Bani Hushaysh, and Hamdan, reflected the prominent place of the Martyr Leader in the hearts of the people and reaffirmed loyalty to him and commitment to following his path and the Qur'anic project he carried to save the nation.
According to Yemen News Agency, speeches delivered during the events reviewed key aspects of the life of the Martyr of the Qur'an, his jihadist stances, and his role in reviving the Qur'anic project and consolidating the faith-based identity. They noted that commemorating the Martyr of the Qur'an represents a renewed faith-based and educational milestone that strengthens steadfastness, awareness, and insight, and renews the pledge to continue along his path and the journey of giving and sacrifice in defense of religion, the oppressed, and the causes of the nation.
The speakers called for drawing inspiration from the meanings of martyrdom, sacrifice, dignity, and honor embodied in the jihadist life of the Martyr Leader, and for assuming responsibility in confronting enemies who seek, by various means, to fragment the Islamic nation and undermine its capabilities. They also stated that the dignity and pride experienced today by the Yemeni people are the result of this renaissance project, which awakened within them the spirit of jihad and a sense of religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility.
