Sanaa: The 12th edition of the Prophet Al-Azam Festival for Artistic and Cultural Creativity concluded on Thursday its competitions in the categories of adult chanting and Arabic poetry.
According to Yemen News Agency, in the final round of the adult chanting competition, contestants included Hashem Zubaidah, Abdullah Al-Ruhani, Ibrahim Qatran, and Hussein Quteirah. Meanwhile, the Arabic poetry competition featured Ziyad Al-Qahhum, Ibrahim Al-Basha, and Ahmed Al-Najjar.
The judging panels for the adult chanting, youth chanting, Arabic poetry, and Qur'an recitation competitions are scheduled to announce the winners tomorrow evening during the festival's closing ceremony.
Today's program also featured a chanting performance titled 'Sharaf Qudumak' by Al-Masirah troupe from Al-Bayda Governorate, an operetta titled 'Habibuna', along with performances highlighting lessons from the life and legacy of the Prophet.
