Sana’a: The First Yemeni Conference on Clinical Pharmacy, organized by September 21 University with the participation of more than 500 researchers and academics, concluded in Sana’a. Participants discussed 21 research papers and scientific papers on the role of clinical pharmacists in improving health care and promoting the use of advanced treatments.
According to Yemen News Agency, the conference recommended appointing clinical pharmacists in hospitals, providing specialized training programs, establishing an electronic platform for the exchange of research and experiences, and involving the media in raising awareness of the importance of clinical pharmacy.
The participants also emphasized the necessity of including clinical pharmacy subjects in the curricula of medical schools and promoting scientific research in this field.
The President of September 21 University, Dr. Mujahid Maasar, highlighted the importance of continuing the scientific movement and implementing the recommendations. Meanwhile, the President of Jableh University, Dr. Abdullah Al-Matari, regarded the conference as a significant step to advance the medical field.
At the end of the event, the scientific and preparatory committees and chairpersons of the sessions were honored with certificates of appreciation and honorary shields in recognition of their efforts in making the conference a success.
