Conclusion of Fourth Ramadan League Competitions for Veterans of Beautiful Era

Sana'a: The competitions of the fourth Ramadan League for veterans over 40 years of age, organized by the Watani Sport Academy with support from Yemeni Telecommunications, concluded today at Al-Hadarah Stadium in Al-Tahrir District, Capital Secretariat:

According to Yemen News Agency, the tournament, which lasted 20 days under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and the supervision of the Youth Office in Al-Tahrir District, featured 11 teams divided into two groups. The first group included teams: Rawad Al-Majd, Rawad Al-Jami'ah, Ushhaq Al-Riyadah, Rawad Watani, Al-Ittifaq, and Mishkat Al-Khair, while the second group included teams: Rawad Al-Hasabah, Al-Asdiqa', Al-Adl, Rawad Al-Riyadah, and Al-Diya'.

The Rawad Al-Hasabah team was crowned champion of the tournament, defeating its competitor Mishkat Al-Khair with five goals to three in the final match, which witnessed competitiveness, excitement, and an audience presence.

The quintet for Rawad Al-Hasabah was scored by Ali Al-Batoul (two goals), Abdullah Al-Tuwaity, Hussein Al-Naqeeb, and Mohammed Jarallah, while the three goals for the Mishkat Al-Khair team were scored by Osama Ishaq, Mohammed Al-Zein, and Younis Al-Sharafi.

Following the match, the Head of the Organizing Committee, Bassam Al-Kahali, and the Head of the Technical Committee, Ayoub Al-Rawdi, honored the Rawad Al-Hasabah team with the championship cup, medals, and a cash prize, and the Mishkat Al-Khair team with the second-place cup, silver medals, and a cash prize.

Player Osama Ishaq was also honored with the tournament's top scorer award, Sakhr Al-Qulaisi with the best goalkeeper award, in addition to honoring the participating teams and working committees.

The Head of the Organizing Committee praised the efforts of the working committees in making the fourth edition of the tournament a success, and the cooperation of the Director of Al-Hadarah Schools, Khaled Al-Jayshi, for hosting the league competitions, noting the role of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Youth Office in Al-Tahrir District in facilitating the tasks of the Watani Sport Academy.
