Al marawi'a: A closing and honoring ceremony was held today for the students of the summer center "Al Fath Al Maw'ood" in the Al Marawi'a district of Hodeidah governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the ceremony, which was attended by the mobilization official in the district, Hamadi Matwan, and directors of executive offices, Sheikh Rajhi Zalil praised the level of interaction witnessed by the summer center and the model and open schools in the district. He also acknowledged the efforts made by those in charge to ensure the success of the programs and activities. He emphasized the importance of summer centers in protecting youth and adolescents from misguided cultures and their role in instilling Quranic culture, beneficial sciences, and enhancing faith-based identity and national belonging.
For his part, Matwan noted that the outputs of the summer courses, including memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran, cultural, sports, and vocational activities, have been a fundamental pillar in discovering and refining the talents and creativity of the students.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Al Qulaisi, speaking on behalf of the center, highlighted that the success of these courses reflects the level of community awareness and the commitment to fortifying the generations.
The students expressed their scientific and cultural benefits gained from the courses, showing appreciation to the teachers and organizers. The ceremony featured a poem by poet Mohammed Al Ahdal, chanting segments, a display by the center's students, and the honoring of teachers and students with certificates of appreciation.
