Sanaa: The executive committee for summer courses in Al Safiya district of the Capital Sanaa concluded today the activities and programs of the summer course for students of the Social Guidance Home (boys) for the year 1447 AH under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad."
According to Yemen News Agency, the director of Al Safiya district and head of the executive committee, Saleh Al Misri, emphasized the significance of recognizing the achievements of the students from the Social Guidance Summer Center. He commended the support and collaborative efforts of all involved in organizing the event and ensuring the success of the summer activities.
Al Misri highlighted that the students' engagement in studying, memorizing, and reciting the Holy Quran, along with skill acquisition and the enhancement of their scientific and cultural abilities, represents a substantial boon in guiding the youth with divine wisdom and Quranic teachings. This, he noted, bolsters their awareness and insight.
He expressed gratitude towards the Social Guidance Home administration, the educators at the summer center, and the Al Safiya Cooperative Association for their dedication to educating and protecting the youth against misguiding cultures and the threats of subtle warfare. Their commitment to developing the students' capabilities through various developmental and educational paths aims to equip them to confront challenges with a faith-based identity and Quranic understanding.
The concluding event was attended by various executive and educational leaders, the Al Safiya Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association, the administration of the Social Guidance Home, teachers and staff of the center, and notable social figures. It featured cultural segments and the recognition of Social Guidance Home students, distinguished participants, and contributors to the summer center with certificates and symbolic gifts.
