Bani sa'd: The executive committee for summer activities and courses and the general mobilization in Bani Sa'd district of Al Mahwit governorate organized today a closing ceremony for the activities of the summer courses for the year 1447 AH in the sub-districts of Bani Al Shuwai'shi and Al Qawazi'a, under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad."

According to Yemen News Agency, during the ceremony, which was attended by a number of directors of executive offices, sheikhs, dignitaries, and social and cultural figures, the mobilization official, Taher Al Ansi, affirmed the importance of summer courses in fortifying youth and adolescents against misguided cultures and the soft war.

Al Ansi praised the efforts of the educational staff and those in charge of the summer centers, as well as the level of community awareness and the interaction of parents and their keenness to enroll their children in summer courses to make optimal use of the summer vacation.

The ceremony included chanting and artistic segments and poems presented by the young participants, reflecting the knowledge and skills they gained during the summer courses.

Meanwhile, the people of the sub-districts of Bani Al Shuwai'shi and Al Qawazi'a organized a massive popular march denouncing the repeated offenses against the Holy Quran and the nation's sanctities by the Jews and Christians.

A statement issued by the march affirmed that offending the Holy Quran represents a provocation to the nation's feelings and a flagrant violation of Islamic sanctities, renewing the affirmation of the steadfast Yemeni position supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause.

The statement called on the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations to take serious action through widespread boycott campaigns of American and Israeli goods, in support of Islamic sanctities and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
