Marib: A training course in livestock farming and care for 27 families of martyrs in the districts of Majzar and Harib al-Qaramish concluded in Marib Governorate. The eight-day program aimed to equip these families with the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their productive projects effectively.
According to Yemen News Agency, the course was organized by the local branch of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families in cooperation with Rawafid Institute for Training and Development. At the closing ceremony, Mohsen Ghafina, the Director of Majzar District, highlighted that these economic empowerment projects are in line with the directives of revolutionary and political leadership. The initiatives aim to support martyrs' families and ease their hardships resulting from ongoing conflict and blockade.
Amer al-Haddad, the Head of the Empowerment Sector at the Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, stressed the importance of transforming martyrs' families into productive households as a priority. He called for official and community collaboration and stronger partnerships with supporting entities to sustain these projects and broaden their scope to benefit the largest number of eligible families.
Al-Haddad further noted that this training course is part of a comprehensive plan to prepare beneficiary families with the skills needed for managing economic empowerment projects, particularly in livestock farming, to enhance their household income sources.
Mutie al-Faqih, Head of Public Mobilization in the Northern Zone, commended the Authority's efforts in boosting the economic empowerment of martyrs' families.
