Sa’ada: The first training course on activating educational and skill-based activities in schools across Sa’ada province concluded today, with the participation of 322 school principals, activity supervisors, and education sector officials.
According to Yemen News Agency, the six-day course was organized by the Higher Committee for Activities and Summer Programs, in coordination with the local authority and the Mobilization Department. It aimed to enhance participants’ skills in implementing educational activities and promoting Quranic culture.
During the closing ceremony, Sa’ada Governor Mohammed Awad and officials from the Ministry of Education emphasized the importance of educational and extracurricular activities in building an aware generation grounded in national and faith-based values. They noted that the Ministry is pursuing specialized programs covering educational guidance, scouting, caring for martyrs’ children, and developing student leadership.
The event concluded with the honoring of several educational figures, including former Head of the Guidance Division Ahmed Sweidan Al-Aqtl, who was awarded a Shield of Loyalty in recognition of his contributions to the educational process in the province.
