Conclusion of Training Course on Operation, Maintenance of Heavy Equipment in Capital Sana’a

Sana'a: The training course on the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment for employees of the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation in the Secretariat was concluded today in the Capital Sana'a, in cooperation with the Skills Development Fund.

According to Yemen News Agency, the course was organized over five days by the Human Resource Development Center at the Ministry of Electricity, Energy, and Water. It aimed to equip 15 engineers, technicians from the maintenance department, and equipment operators in the Corporation with essential knowledge and skills to operate machinery and perform necessary maintenance before, during, and after operation.

At the conclusion, the Director of the Local Water Corporation in the Capital Secretariat, Engineer Mohammed Mada'as, emphasized the importance of such courses in qualifying the Corporation's employees. He highlighted the development of their capabilities in various fields and the provision of necessary skills that contribute to improved performance and service delivery.

Mada'as urged the engineers and technicians of the Corporation's maintenance department to apply the knowledge gained from the course in their work. He emphasized the importance of accomplishing maintenance work for equipment, preserving them, and ensuring their sustainability and efficiency in operation.

The event was attended by the Director of the Human Resource Development Center at the Ministry of Electricity, Yasin Al-Maqtari, and his deputy Abdulwahab Al-Abbasi, who distributed certificates of appreciation to the course participants.
