Coordination and Cooperation Boost Discussed Between Ministry of Transport and Traffic Police

Sana'a: The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Qahim, met with the Director General of Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakeel Al-Barashi, along with several Traffic Police leaders in Sana'a to deliberate on enhancing coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and the Traffic Police.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting saw the attendance of Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works, Yahya Al-Siyani, and various ministry leaders. The primary focus was on exploring strategies to improve collaboration in executing joint tasks, specifically those related to traffic regulation and land transport operations. The discussions aimed at finding effective ways to regulate road traffic and enhance transport services.

During the discussions, Minister Mohammed Qahim commended the ongoing efforts to develop and upgrade the Traffic Police's performance, emphasizing its role in elevating service levels for citizens and bolstering safety measures. He reiterated the Ministry's commitment to fostering cooperation with the Traffic Police to enhance road safety and devise strategies to mitigate accidents.

Major General Dr. Bakeel Al-Barashi expressed gratitude for the Ministry's support and collaboration with the Traffic Police. He noted that this partnership has led to the successful completion of numerous joint tasks and has significantly improved the quality of services offered to citizens.
